Thread: What are you doing for the 4th

Just wanted to know what others were doing. Maybe if someone's idea is really good i will change my plans to make my adventure more fun.


I'm starting the day off with margaritas...........then around noon i'll be at the beach grabbing some sun and waves.........cookout/get together with friends at a pool.........finally back to the beach for the fireworks and some good old fun at the bars:beerchug:


happy 4th to everyone and if you don't celebrate it then still make the day memorable it is on a saturday

Sitting at home with the family and light fireworks and BBQ WOOH!

Gonna go watch Train perform under the Arch in St. Louis. Should be a great concert and free to boot.

Very nice :arms: good band and the cost is pretty sweet.

Work on a theme during the day, grill out at dusk, then lettin the kids shoot some fireworks.

Hey Bryan,

I know you do not want to hear this but.....

Mount Rainer is clear and crisp today with no clouds in the sky. Temp will be in the 80's tomorrow for the 4th with clear view of the fire works from West Seattle.:arms::arms:

Going to buy a new BBQ grill today so I can break it in tomorrow. Bratts, bugers, and other stuff. Who has a favorite for the grill?

Cocktails today will be:

"Washington Apple":beerchug:

Crown Royal
DeKuyper Pucker Sour Apple Schnapps Liquer
Cranberry Juice (or Cranapple)
ICE

Mix all equal parts to taste or add as needed. Flavor should be that of a slightly tart apple over ice. Good thirst quencher for the hot days ahead.

Are you serious :banghead: I don't think I can remember a fourth that wasn't rainy. Sounds like a blast makes me wish I was back home

I do have you beat temp wise though :nana: going to be a cool 97 tomorrow

I can live with either temp now that summer is here in the area. The Cruise ships are set to leave for AK over the weekend and all is good. You can come back anytime to visit that is. Housing prices are at a standstill here with very little activity and is a buyers market. The squeeze lives on Alki in West Seattle so we will have an unobstructed view of the fireworks and Seattle at night...and did I mention cocktails........:arms::arms::boggled::bigeyes::ar ms:
