Let's be honest, until recently most of RIM's commercials were very business-minded & serious. A few months ago, RIM announced that they had decided to partner with CollegeHumor to make some more youthful & humorous BlackBerry videos to promote devices & apps.

Streeter & Amir, the two faces most synonymous with CollegeHumor have recently started the BBM Challenge Council Project, where they will debunk RIM myths with humorous videos & contests at the same time.

I was a bit hesitant at first to watch their first episode, but they did find a creative way to promote BBM Music by causing a block party in some small town somewhere in New York.

Do you think this RIM partnership with CollegeHumour is a step in the right direction?
