Thread: crakberry store checking me for fraud?!?!

so i tried to buy berrybuzz and berry popup and then right after berryweather for my dads storm and now crackberry cancelled all my orders and is investigating me for fraud with my own credit card!?!? so now i cant even install the orders i placed

is it through mobihand? it may be because of the pin numbers. sounds like you have 2 storms or phones.

I've gone through a couple storms lately and everytime the pin changes they ask for an email with confirmation of the change in pin.

it's not a big deal but it takes a day or so.

Many times I order from mobihand I get the fraud check email and have to wait for it to clear... Idk why though. I thought it was cuz my name didn't match exactly the name I have on my card but I have read where other customers have the same issue.

yea i actually emailed them and told them to cancel both orders...i decided to just use app world instead

seriously though I'm gonna have to go through all this again tomorrow. I even asked telus for the pin so I could send the email today.

they said nope you can get it tomorrow when you pick up the device.

LOL I tried that with Verizon on my last one and got the same answer. Mobihand took 4 days to switch my pin over :angryfire:

you think mobihand is a pain to deal with...you can't get a PAID app from appworld without paying for it.

and they dont' do reimbursements!!!.

wow, I didn't have to wait that long but I emailed them several times.

we'll see what tomorrow brings.. I only lose QL for a while anyway.

I guess stolen apps go for quite a bit on the black market.

wow funny I've used the mobihand site (not crackberry) for everything, and in fact I have the account under my pin and have apps which i ordered for my girlfriends phone (different pin) under the same list of apps mixed in with mine. Never once got a fraud email.

I think these emails are random. All my info matches, but I got one a while ago.
