CNET Provides Full Review of iPhone 3GS

So from the company that seems to applaud every move Apple makes, CNET has released a full review of the iPhone 3GS. I found it kind of interesting so here is the link in case you want to read more about it.

Being a previous iPhone 3G user I think the new phone is a disappointment. The 3.0 software update is pretty cool as it adds 100+ new features but with the exception of a few items on the new phone it's essentially the same thing as the last generation. I was hoping to see some sort of real revolutionary type stuff like a HD screen.

That part is true. When I had the phone I had over 100 apps installed. That part is pretty amazing.

looks pretty sweet, but it's too bad they didn't fix the call quality issue. my friend has an iphone 3g and half the time he gets either bad quality or spotty reception. also the at&t network is still terrible unless you're in a large city or standing next to a tower.
i would turn it all in for late nights and impossible dreams.

I really tried to like the iPhone had it for a good 6 months (the 3G version). I had two major problems, couldn't type on it and the other was AT&T call quality and reception. I live in Los Angeles but commute to NYC on business weekly. Maybe it's just me but I had some many dropped calls it was embarresing. Driving down Park Ave It would drop 5 times. LA just as bad. That's why I call AT&T the provider with no bars in more places.

Actually, technically one issue is with my big fat fingers and the other one with AT&T. My girl has an iPhone and she can put me to shame in a typing test using a curve. So really the only issue is with the AT&T network the other is OPERATOR ERROR LOL

True, but your issue can be justified as the iphone does not have a keyboard in landscape
