Facebook vs. Fwitter
okay, i'm tired of this discussion happening everywhere, so we'll limit it to this topic and not let it leak into the 3rd party apps, etc.
please list merits/flaws of Facebook (including the app) and for fwitter (if any merits exist, that is)
i'll go first
facebook allows a larger history of viewing of "status" or blurbs people can write, the status comments become basically chat rooms of sorts, picture viewing is easier (espeicially on the new app)
twitter doesn't do anything. it's like a web based sms that other people can read. and it looks like garbage!
Well I have never used Facebook, and only recently got into twitter. But I have to say to stay current with news and blackberry crap twitter is very nice for me.
I think I would prefer to read your posts on twitter. I know that there are limitations to the posting, but that could also be an advantage. Unless of course you prefer to have banter and want comments back. Just my 2 cents worth.
well facebook is more for friends, chatting up, posting funny pix, etc.
it's a good way to keep old friends close at hand for easy access and stuff. that's what i use it for.
twitter just seems so self involved to me.
8:30 "i'm doing this"
8:32 "mmm, that was fun"
8:37 "now i'm doing this"
i can see how it is productive for businesses, but isn't that just an RSS feed or a blog?
idk, twitter is going in the wrong direction IMO. just wanted to see what other people thought.
I love fwitter and so does JLevy. He requested you this morning... he said fwitter would be so much better with patches.
True I saw it myself :lmao:

Both are pretty self absorbed but for keeping in contact with friends and what not isn't that what email/phone is about, oh wait back on topic. I think the whole SMS approach of twitter is pretty lame IMHO. Therefore, the flexibility that exists with Twitter is far superior. Just my two cents.
i agree twitter would be better with patches
