Here goes my 2 cents on this
I have seen the Iphone 3GS yesterday (I mean live), and looks ok, but, (yes there is a but) the batt life still sucks, the speed on the internet is the same as the last gen, maybe because of AT&T network, the lag of multitasting sucks, I mean real multitask, right now my bold is running opera, bolt, bb browser, berry weather, bbm, music player all at the same time and some other apps than runs in the background, I live in las vegas and we have 3G, here for all carriers VZ, ATT, Tmobile, and for real the tmobile G1 and the storm on vz 3G have the same speed, even my bold on EDGE opened some pages at the same time than this Iphone.
Not saying is a bad device, I'm saying is in the wrong carrier (maybe).
But for me, the multitask limit is a no go.

I live south of San Francisco...my business partner has an iphone and sitting at our desk, and at his house he has no service with AT&T. I have the Storm on Verizon with four bars.
Both of these are supposed to be "smartphones" the only thing about the iphone that is good is the "i" part...the phone part sucks.
Having said that, I would switch in a min if Verizon got the iphone, or the iphone got better phone service. RIM has really let everyone down.

To update my post another no go for me
The reason why AT&T won’t support MMS with the iPhone until “late Summer”, tethering info!

The things the new iphone does not have that the storm does:
1.) The ability to put an index card behind the battery to help the screen be more responsive
2.) An app that resets the iphone so that you have a fresh 30mbs of app memory to get ya through the day
3.) 3.0MP camera. The iphone has 3.0 mp and when you are taking pictures of anything moving faster than a sloth (south american mammal whose maximum ground speed reaches 1.2 mph) u would be surprised how much that .2 mp really makes a difference
4.) MOST IMPORTANT it does not have BBOS and the people on this web site who make us one big happy (sort of) dysfunctional family who for whatever reason truly believes that this storm will be all its supposed to be.
*Oh and one other thing. 258mbs of free app memory is overrated, my storm has 5.3mbs right now and it is SMOKING FAST

I've heard that some people have switched their I-Phones with AT&T to Verizon by swapping out their sim chip..These people have paid $50.00 for that swap. I would pay that gladly if this were true and not BS. Can anyone here verify?

Sign me up. I like this phone but it currently has nothing on the iphone. Also it would be more user friendly on my mac.Originally Posted by BlackberryOS
For a mac user its a dream come true. But even with a PC they have made everything very functional. Unlike RIM who insists on crippling those with a Mac.
