I'd like to Thank ::bbos::, its staffers and this site for running a fun, and exciting Fantasy Football League. I am in for next year for sure!!! And ESPN is a great site for FF, one of my fav's.
Special shout out to East Cost Hoof 'earted as he has thebest regular season and had a stacked team, but the playoffs are a different species. Next year we should make the finals in Week 16 instead as a lot of regulars (VICK) didn't play this last week.
Great season none the less!

Congrats on the win buddy. LMAO... I slacked hard this year in all 3 of my leagues. I only played the first 4 weeks and then never touched my teams again... This year was lousy for me in the FF world but it's all good I will get you back next year. In any event I will PM you about the prizes.

Maybe next year all teams will play the same number of games.

yeah that was a bit weird....different..... here i am starting my lineups and then i see that im on a bye week for 3 weeks in a row? why couldnt i just play the other guy thats on the bye week too?

So as some of you may or may not know, BBOS is saying they were not affiliated with this Football Contest, and that Hodges, the member who started this pool didn't have any approval form BBOS.
So as the Grand Prize Winner, I am told basically I am getting ZERO prizes, nothing, nada!!!
What a joke this pool has turned out to be!!!
I've lost all respect for BBOS
Spread the word to your friends and other members, BBOS had 17 weeks to stop the pool or make it known that they are not paying prizes out, but since BBOS staff didn't win 1st place, they are choosing to not pay out as they are saying Hodges did not have approval for this to be BBOS affiliated - are you kidding me??????? It was posted all over BBOS site, and now, its too bad so sad - what a joke!!!

So I won 1st place in the Fantasy Football pool that was run by BBOS. This contest went on for 17 weeks!
I am now told the person who ran the contest (Hodges), didnt have authorization to affiliate it with BBOS, and I am being told that I basically am getting no prize for winning the pool, and that goes the same for 2nd place and 3rd place finishers who were all suppose to get prizes.

Don't trust contests on this site as even if it takes 17 weeks of your time to participate and win it, you still won't get a prize at the end!!!

I hope they fix their mistakes of trying to trick members/scam members...
And if they do I will be the first to say something positivek, but as of right now, I am told too bad so sad. I'm sure they may try and delete this post so that the rest of you guys dont find out about it.

I would say I'm sorry, but get over it. If hodges didn't have authorization to run the contest then oh well. Should they have shut the thread down if he wasn't authorized to affiliate it with BBOS? Not really... Should a disclaimer be put up stating that BBOS is not sponsoring the contest and can't be held liable? Sure.

I'm sorry you feel so scammed and such, but its just a forum contest.

This was not a BBOS official contest, which is why it was placed in the off-topic forum and not in our official contest Forum. I'm sorry you have not received any winnings for this contest, but you are knocking on the wrong door as the team members that held the competition are responsible for any prizes/winnings and anything else associated with the contest. Those team members are no longer on the BBOS team so please contact them privately.
