Renesas Technology to Release SH-MobileHD1 Application Processor for Mobile Phones That Is First in Industry to Offer Full HD Video Recording and Playback SupportAlthough many of today?s mobile phones come with HD-quality displays but very few of them are capable of recording and playing back high-def content at a respectable frame rate. Renesas, has now announced a new processor, SH7370, which can be incorporated into mobile phones to provide them capabilities of both recording and playback of full HD video (1,920 x 1,080 pixels).
