Thread: BlackberryOS Fundraiser - Collin Reilly

I have said it in the past and a lot will agree, BlackberryOS is not just a site dedicated to the BlackBerry devices. We are a close group of friends and I guess you could say an online family. That is what makes me strive to make BlackberryOS one of the top sites. When some one needs help, we all come together and give them the help they need.

I am writing this because of a child named Collin Reilly who lives in my area. Collin is 6 months old and on Friday was diagnosed with a 5cm brain mass. Just looking at the pictures of him are heartbreaking and I honestly can not look at them all for that reason. Local businesses are donating items for raffle and their is going to be a ziti dinner with the proceeds going to the family to help with the medical costs. With that said, starting April 1st, all income from the BlackberryOS store will go to the Reilly family, along with the income from bbOSalerts. If any one would like to donate, it would be greatly appreciated and I can not thank you enough and I know the family could not thank you enough. If anyone donates $25.00 or more I will switch them over to lifetime VIP. The smallest amount can go a long way! I will donate $50. I have downloaded many free themes (Natemz & d_1000) leaked OS's and hybrids from BBOS and I am owed nothing. I do feel that this site is an extension of my friends and family. I have great relationships with a few people here and I love donating to great causes like this.

Thank you Pain!! It is very appreciated and glad you feel this is like a family here. I'm going to try and attend their ziti dinner and show support on behalf of BlackberryOS.

Let me know how and when Brett and I'll match Pain Producer for pretty much the same reasons! And your right, being a part of different forums in the past, BBOS is not your typical site. Great job getting this set up and keeping it running!

Just donated, but like Pain Producer, I don't feel like I am owed a lifetime membership. This site has been a favorite of mine ever since I came across it and has provided me with many free themes and applications along the way. My heart goes out to that kid and his family. I have two little kids myself and I can't imagine how hard it must be for his parents.

Dont know what I can do right now, but I have added him on FB and will spread the word as much as possible . . .

I know I haven't been a member very long, but I felt this donation was the right thing to do! As others have said the lifetime VIP isn't necessary.

OK you guys...I popped $25 as soon as a saw this...but I admire both of you for what you are doing so I just sent another $ 25 to catch up to you.

Looked like it was going to be a rough day today. First was a restless night and the wife finally had enough and kicked me out of bed. Then, made a pot of coffee and forgot to put the coffee in. Thinking to myself, wonderful, what next. Then I see this, and not only has my morning been put into perspective, it's now going to be a great day!
