Thread: Trip to chicago

Hey all.. my fellow blackberrian's I have a training i have to attend in Schaumburg, outside of Chicago, wondering if any of you know of anything good to do in the area.. my trip will be monday april 12th arriving late.. midniteish and then leaving thrusday afternoon. Just looking for things to do at night.. good bar, restaurants, local fun things.. i will be in training from 8-5 every day sooo let me know.

I know of a great restuarant where you can get one of the best steaks in your life. Name is Henry's and i go everytime I'm in Chicaga. Good bar as well. Will shoot the address to you later when I get home.

awesome! I dont know about the best steak.. I went to San Antonio TX a few years ago to a restaurant steak house that also had its own cattle farm... fresh fillet.... wow is all i can say.. I didnt even pick up a steak knife.. used a fork...

We had one like that in Ft.Erie...Georges. The best steak I ever had. It was a house converted into a restuarant and only sat 20. They were famous for their steak and lobster

Ummm... Can't remember the name... Nights of the round table? I think that's it! Theme restaurant! Dinner and a show! Good meal and mid evil show while you eat! Something to say you did! Can't miss it! Off I-94 great big ass castle!!!

Had one in Kissimmee, Florida.

Had to eat with your fingers.
Brought us a whole chicken on a plate and drank out of stiens.

You guys are makin me hungry! This hot pocket doesn't look so good any more.

Jason thanks. Aren't you close to there? And I might have to stop there food any good? Jrod tempermentalman hooked that up for me. I knew what I wanted but couldn't make it so he is the man. Awesome isn't it? Anything else over that way? I got 3 days there and so far have a couple ideas.

I guess what I am looking for is just a nice bar.. i have been to chicago in the past, i think it was more downtownish, but the bars down that way didnt feel real safe... nor were they much fun.. Maybe a place that has a dart board, well LITE parking lot... nothing adult, just nice. What about other things besides food and beer lol. I will be done at 5 everyday,.. good shopping centers? things specific to the area?

Theres a place in Niagara-on-the-Lake should anyone be in the Niagara Region in Ontario...The King George. Bring a wife or significant other...they have to serve you. Traditional 1400's castle dinner, no cutlery, stiens for mead, eat right from the bone. something like Mid-Evil Times but a little more hardcore.
