I thought that was fake... the only other reference to google was "googolplex", which meant a 1, followed by one hundred zeros, which was the negative reference to my bank account after the holidays back then (when i had one...)

There always is a library and a thing called research.

I wonder what kids these days would do without computers. I wondering back to when I was in school and think how sick it would have been to have a cell phone or laptop...

Not sick at all, with technology comes new types of homework and an extra 500 words.. Lol

School is arguable but this story is NOT!!!

So at work (AT&T) when you buy a phone it has a rebate (Like all carriers). When parents are in the store with their kids, I try to keep the kids busy as to not distract the parents. Sometimes I will hand a blank envelope to a kid and ask them to write their return address on it.

I kid you not, on average kids under 19 always look at me like "WTF!?!?!?".

When I was in school (Keep in mind I am 25 - So I was the tail end of the "older generation") I was taught to address and envelope, now kids are taught how to send an email.

That is definitely messed up! I know after being in the wireless industry and a BB freak for years all my kids want a BB and my 2yr old knows mine, and my mother-n-laws ringtones by heart. When the wife's phone rings she says" I wanna talk to ______(whoever it is me or her mom)"

Thats ok, I am sad to say my 4yr old thought he was calling grandma, and called 911 instead. When the operator told him they would send a policeman to his door, he gave the phone to his momma real quick, LOL

But our generation is born technology savvy, I was making websites at 8 years old... I mean c'mon - if I'm not web savvy now, I'll never be Lol.
