Haha I remember these tooI also remember the ones that the only game was pong and the only options were 1 or 2 player.
What gets me about alot of this is the orgin of the "video game" originated with the military trying to develop a missile weapons defense system. These programs were adapted into simple games.
The evolution of the video game has died and been resurrected over 6 generations and counting.

Thanks for the flashback with that Jrod. (and all your other posts too) I got that for my boys Christmas of 1980 I believe (or right around that time frame anyway) Who would have thought my eldest son would repay it (for a lack of better words) and get me a BlackBerry 30 years later. And to boot I can tell the whole world about it through this internet thing and I still have that Atari till this day. Both joysticks n all
