i came from the xv6800 to the storm 1... if you are a device junkie and like to tinker with the UI and all that then the touch pro is where its all... you can do just about anything with a windows phone....

if you think OSs leak alot on BBs then check out XDA forums... they are way ahead of official releases with their leaks to the point where the UI has been tweaked significantly. I will be moving back to a windows phone as soon as i can pick one up with a capacitive screen and i hear the keyboards on the TP2's rock...

just google some reviews and see for yourself.

ok i have a winmo and a bb, one a suretype pearl and another is a touch cruise/polaris, my wife rocks a htc magic android. All are good, and I rock a BB 8110 for now, and will be upgrading to the 9700 as soon as it becomes available here in NZ, depending what you want out of a device, I prefer BB because of the push notifications, and I can get the information I want when I want it. All are capable devices, you need to detail what you need to be able to answer objectively

The HD2 is a nice device, I had some quality time with it. However, the 9700 IMO is the better device. Probably the best BB on the market today. It would be even better if it was on VZW's network but we'll let RIM slide on that.

The touch pro 2 is an amazing device. After having one in the store in hand for a week my 2 biggest complaints are 1 the keyboard is so spaced I feel like my fingers are running across a football field to type on it, 2nd how the device felt. Just didnt feel right for me(that is my opinion). I have not had a chance to play with the 9700 but have other devices that have the track pad. The track pad alone is enough to get me to pick the 9700 hands down.

    8900 to MyTouch3g to 9700

I decided to upgrade my Curve 8900, went for the MyTouch 3G. I used it for 2 weeks prior to giving up on it and moving on to the Bold 9700. While I liked the Android OS, I could not get over the lag time in getting up the Phone Screen. Right after doing a reboot, it was fine. But after about 2 hours, it could take anywhere from 20 to 60 seconds for the basic dialer screen to come up. That and lots of forced closes and a couple of missed calls and I gave up. The HTC updated keyboard was an improvement, but not sufficient to overcome the lag in the OS. I returned it and got the 9700.
Love the optical trackpad, fast and stable (mostly) 5.0 OS, better keypad than the 8900 and it feels more solid. The keyboard does not move about at all (like the 8900). It is a very solid design...the best so far.
    Just my thoughts....
