Thread: Question - What is a good asking price for a Storm 9530?

So I recently sold my Curve 8330C with some accessories (car cahrger, USB cable, home charger, silicone case) for $150. This lead me to think what does everybody think a good price is (from both the buyer's and seller's point of view) for the Storm 1?

Personally, I am thinking around $200 (with same accessories I sold with Curve). I figure for people that are stuck in contract with an inability to uipgrade, $200 isn't a bad price considering the full retail for the Storm last time I checked, was $469.99.

What do you think?

Between $150 and $200 in my opinion. Is it unlocked?

Mine is on sleeze-bay and will bring $190-210..... Had it sold once for $212.00 already but, buyer was a scammer. If you want to sell it fast and not pay fee's you can list it here and get around $150 and be done. Mine is flawless and is unlocked so I went the sleeze-bay route. They will easily bring the above amount.....

It is not unlocked, not quite sure how difficult it is to go about unlocking it (I know I need an unlock code, but don't know how easy they are to obtain from VZW)...I have a posting on Craigs site and it is flawless

I have sold every blackberry I have owned on Ebay. I think a quick sale price of $150-175 can be obtained in a matter of hours with a buy-it-now on Ebay without the phone being unlocked. If you put it up for auction i think you would get close to $200 or slightly more, depending on your accessories. I am going to post mine shortly on ebay and i am going to try and get slightly more than $200 and I am going to offer the dock charger and an otterbox case. I am just waiting for a replacement phone from my insurance, so I can state that the phone is brand new.

With the Storm 2 out, the Tour and the upcoming release of the Tour 2 and 8530 just releasing..It's a tough call. I would use $200.00 as a max number. Me personally, I would not pay more then 200.00 for a 9530 now.

I have mine listed for $110 and nobody has bid on it yet. YMMV I guess.

I posted mine on Ebay last night. All that I included was whatever came with the phone originally. I had it listed for auction or buy it now. It sold for $250.00 US with buy it now. It was paid for immediately with Paypal.I am very happy.

I just sold my 9530 on Ebay last week. It sold at auction for $175.00. I included everything that came with it plus extended battery, charging pod, 3 leather cases and a holster. Had it sold 2 weeks prior for $225 but the ****** never paid for it and I had to re-list it. I also offered it as buy-it-now for $249.99 and did not get any takers. The phone was a year old and an unlocked Verizon phone that was free of contract obligations, the buyer is using it as we speak. Short answer I'd look to get about $200 and I'd get it listed quick before Storm 2's and/or Tours start getting listed.

Sold my on Craig's list for $175 in 20 minutes. It was unlocked. That was after 5 sales on e-bay in which the buyer did not complete payment. I would be very cautious about e-bay, four of the five buyers used a buy it now option and did not follow through on payment (one even scammed a fake paypal payment). With the unpaid on e-bay you have to go through a resolution process otherwise they still charge you their percentage for the sale (even if you do not get paid).

If unlocked,mint condition and those Accrrs..I'd say betwn $200 and $250

I sold my locked 9530 on Ebay for $200 and it was in almost mint condition.

How about the World Edition 8830? How much will it sell at eBay? My previous 8830 is hardly used 'coz I switched to Storm right away after it came out.

It's hard to say since that is an older phone. I would start the bidding at $150 if it was me.

Sold mine on e-bay for $217.50, it was in mint condition only one tiny scratch above the screen. If you put it on here I would guess $150 ish range, e-bay will bring alittle more, but after the paypal and e-bay fee's its a wash if you ask me.
