Wanting that new berry? Just need some extra cash? Have an old Blackberry laying around, maybe one that is defective? Well you need to check out . They offer money for your old berry's even if they are defective. Their site says it takes about a week to get your money. They have a live chat help if you have questions. Just for fun I put in that I had a storm that was not defective but had wear, they were paying $195.00. Thats not bad for a used storm 1.

That's really good. I had a refurb Storm 1 in October, after the screen went dead on the first one, so the S1 has no wear and everything works fine. So if i get over $200, that's really not bad. Better than just having it sit around. I'll have to look into the site once I get home.

edit:: I just tried out the site, I guess the most they'll give for a S1 is $195...no matter how good of a condition the phone is in.

add an S to the end of berry and it'll take you to the correct website.

Does anyone have any experience with these folks? I've got a S1 and a Tour both in excellent condition just sitting around--be nice to get some $$ for 'em.

I would in interested to talk with someone first who has ACTUALLY gotten their money from them. I am always a little skeptical of sending something and waiting for something in return!!!

Dont know much about them more than what I posted but I would guess there would be a paper trail a mile long when they send you out the shipping package.. or you could call them and ask for how it would be insured to get your money

Good looks on the info, I noticed that they have other sites too for iPhones, smartphones, and for laptops. I have a Dare and a Voyager that have just been laying around since I got my Storm. This is some quick cash, I think I have some other phones laying around as well. Thanks.

Ok--so I'd forgotten about the VZW TouchPro I had and used for about three weeks before getting my S1.

These folks offered me $135 for it. I just set this transaction up on the cashforsmartphones.com (same outfit as cashforberrys.com) website a few minutes ago. We'll see how it goes. If it's as advertised, I'll probably flip my S1 and my Tour.

Will keep everyone posted.

I dove in and sold my S1 for $195 at cashforberrys.com. Had it listed on another board for $200, so $195 and they deal with the boxes and shipping seemed worth it to me.

Thinking about unloading a 8330 there too, but we'll see how this transaction goes...plus I may want to have a back up for my S2.


I tried another place, EZTradein.com not too long ago for a 8130 I had laying around. Haven't gotten my check yet, but they agreed to pay me $43.

I am very Interested in the outcome too. Most times if it's to good to be true it normally is.

Just set the thing in motion. They offered $195 for my 9530 so I figure that will pay for the Storm2. I'll let you guys know how it goes.
