    Hi Jeff,

Unfortunately 9900 is not 'real 4G speeds'. It seems like this PB is 4G LTE capable so the speeds should be even faster than the hotspot speeds being offered by the 9900

I can't imagine that the actual cost of the 4G LTE PlayBook is going to cost $549, likely carriers will introduce in the following days ahead some sort of promotion, or price reduction deal.

I myself, have been waiting for one, since I sold my 16GB PlayBook (WiFi) to make room for the 4G 32GB or 64GB version, most likely the higher 64GB since I love watching movies, and listening to music a lot and surfing on the internet (on the road).

    Thank you.

Seriously? $549.95? RIM overpriced it (assuming it is final)

I will not be surprised if this is the actual cost. There will most likely be some sort of carrier contract that will drop the price down. Frankly, I am going to pass on this one, my 9800 provides my PlayBook with enough internet when I am on the road. Most of the time I am near some sort of WiFi signal as well. It will be interesting how consumers respond to this one.

I agree with you on that Sir ice2921. I will also pass on this one as I am preparing to have the BB10. My Bold 9900 gives my PlayBook its maximum speed for the internet connection whenever I am out doing some stuffs. Pass, pass, and pass..
