Yea, wasn't working for me either until today. Could be that RIM still needs to whitelist some of the devices. I'd try again later tonight.

Desktop Software is a bit whacky at times . If you do this procedure you will get 10.0.4.197 regardless of what it states. Previously I was running OS 10.0.4.188

That is strange, mine said that app build .187 would be installed. But I just checked my OS details and it still says .197. ??

Ignites, try making sure that file sharing is enabled first. This helped another user.

no dice still... this is the error that i get.

There's a member on one of the BBM groups I belong to who has apparently successfully reloaded his BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha device.

I'll keep everyone posted on the outcome of my attempt tonight.

I am charging my device at the moment, been having too much fun with it.

I have just received a BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha OS10.4 Bundle 197 (Platform 10.0.4.187) upgrade via BlackBerry Desktop Manager Beta v7.1.0.31, which I have also tweeted Here

I've managed to get mine up and running with the 10.0.4.197 OS as well. It's a nice mini update as we had 10.0.4.188 previously.

I had .197 before, and even though I reloaded the same OS, it seems to be working smoother.

Yeah, I believe you got your Dev Alpha in Orlando if I remember correctly right Joe?

For the people who went to a BlackBerry 10 Jam location outside Orlando our Dev Alpha's were loaded up with OS 10.0.4.188, Whereas Orlando Dev Alpha's already had 10.0.4.197, Currently on the update server they have 10.0.4.197 When the actual update comes they'll be replacing that with whatever the update happens to be, I just think they put this out there because 10.0.4.197 is the latest build that's out on Dev Alpha's as of now.

Yea, I attended BB World and BB Jam.

I got mine to work. Had to toggle storage and usb settings to 'Connect to Windows' as opposed to 'Automatically Connect' and suddenly life. It was a very magical moment brought me back to a magical place.... like Disney World in Orlando... which is where I got my devAlpha.
