I'm not surprised either, but again, as with PlayBook, we need a cross-platform video chat service. The obvious one is Skype.

Skype will still come to BB10. That is, at least Verizon BB10 devices as they hold the monopoly on Skype with BlackBerry. But BBM video chat was inevitable. I talked about this when OS 7 first came out, and criticized the fact that OS 7 devices did not come equipped with a front facing camera.

I am not really bothered about skype. I have 69 contacts in my BBM. Most of friends and business contacts are already there. And rest also have a BB. So video chat on BBM is huge. Can't wait for BB10
