I have registered, then upgraded my BlackBerry PlayBook to OS2.1.0.560 beta and realized a new feature, which our very own Team member Goku located in the Security tab, scroll to Encryption.

If we find any other new changes in this OS Beta, we'll be sure to post here as soon as possible.

    Thank you.

I'll never use the Encryption feature, but it is a must for businesses that hold valuable account info on their employees tablets.

Considering that the PlayBook can be remotely locked and wiped via Mobile Fusion, the Encryption feature is great for businesses that don't actually have the Mobile Fusion set up

This is a big plus from RIM for business who wish to encrypt their BlackBerry PlayBook data, and even for consumers who wish to add another secure level of security in case they either misplace or lose their PlayBook in a worse case scenario.

    Thank you.
