Really poor article. Lets put doom and gloom and Rim in the same sentence and publish something for the sake of it.

You expect better? you cant really say this to someone who is just posting the facts and figures. It is true that BB10 needs to be a huge success and take people away from Android and IOS. If BB10 is successful then RIM will manage to dissolve their huge stock of unsold Playbooks by advertising them with BB10 already installed and showing how great the pairing between a BB phone and a PB can be and already is. Things can only look up for RIM after BB10 comes out. I know a lot of people who are due for upgrades but will not upgrade until BB10, This is because they know there is a new generation of BB devices coming and don't want to be left behind in 6months-1years time. We have already seen some great Apps that are coming to PB such as Pacemaker, Me for one will be downloading that the day it is released because it looks amazing and will easily compete with Djay by Algoriddim for IOS. RIM have worked so heard to get people developing for the new QNX based OS and im looking forward to having apps and tools on our devices that other people cannot have on their platforms. There will be a day when everyone who has left Blackberry will be kicking themselves and wanting to come back. I believe the RIMpire can and will do it, have some faith its all about the turn around now.

Something I might add, is that RIM needs to get Verizon back on board for the launch of the first BlackBerry 10 phone. Otherwise that will continue to be a big hole with the US subscriber market. The BB 10 device will be amazing. It's just a matter of having the big cell providers on line for launch.

I totally agree with you there mate. Here in the UK we need the 3 major carriers to push this (vodafone,orange and o2) otherwise the competitors will continue to outsell.
