This is why I returned my Torch after using it for 6 days and not being pleased by its performance, battery life, or keyboard. Got me a 9780 instead.

i myself thinks the problem is with the os not the phone my 9650 was fine until i updated to os 6 now the battery life is crap this problem should have been fix a long time ago

I'm also having battery drain issues on my 9650. Had to upgrade to a stronger battery so I don't have to recharge up to 3 times per day. Verizon has approved crappy OS' when it comes to battery life.
