    This sounds like “sour grapes” from an obsessed iPad lover. The fact that it can be tethered to my BlackBerry is exactly why I want one. Now I don’t have to get a separate data plan to use it in the field. I can finally use all the data that I am paying for on my phone plan. This is going to turn in to a real “iPad killer”.

    That is the main point this "analyst" is looking over. RIM controls the most subscribed BlackBerry users in the market. Adding the PlayBook to that will only strengthen the loyalty of those subscribers.

    playbook has potential.. time will tell though how it plays out for rim.. If they put andro through JVM, or in another way- smart move!! If mail-services cant be accessed through WI-FI not so smart(depends, private or corporate email)...
    Most important, in my views, will be third party apps.. What,How,When,How Much- will deliver...
