Breath of Fresh Air ...
These forums all have interesting evolutionary cycles.
Most forums start out being kind of useless because they don't have enough posts or content.
Then slowly they start getting really good. Serious people find the forum and join and the board becomes very useful and a great resource.
Then the inevitable happens. The forum starts to lose its boutique charm when more and more people join and you wind up with loads of marginal contributors most of whom participate to rack up big post counts on their member profile so they feel important. Ultimately the board gets overrun with kids and kooks. It happened at Howard Forums and I see it happening now at CrackBerry. CrackBerry is really getting out of control. It's a shame because they started out as a great resource.
Just started reading the boards here and so far it seems that BlackBerryOS is ideally positioned as having enough members to keep things interesting but not big enough to worry about all the timewasters.
Just joined and looking forward to hanging around and enjoying a good forum experience.
