    One more thing about that show, I may have found my second favorite web site. Of course BBOS is number 1 but that "advertisement" that gentleman promotes is hilarious. Is that you talking before the show?
    Yeah, that new sponsor is great. I need to check that site out.

    The Deadpod is hosted by the Professor. I am the Doctor. LOL. Seriously, I am not John Henrickson.

    And congrats on getting a working device!

    Lou something is missing today. Myself and I'm sure the millions of folks who visit this site on a daily basis look forward to your Friday GD show that you post. Also Lou since you are the "doctor" maybe you can help me with an "operation". Operation finding the January 27, 1976 show by the Jerry Garcia Band. Its just incredible. Maybe you have it in your collection?

    My apologies! I meant to do this, and stupid work got me all sidetracked.

    I will see what I can find on JBand.

    Yep, the Big RR did not disappoint. I appreciate you seeing if you have that one particular show from the JGB. As always I appreciate your posts and seeing if you can find that show. If you ever are looking for anything specific, let me know. I have hundreds of cassettes (from the 70's to the mid to late 80's, and a whole lot of cd's up to 95 in my collection. I have it pretty well cataloged so pretty easy to find something.

    I have the show in compressed (.shn) format courtesy of the Professor. When I get some time, I will decompress, upload to my MEGA account and send you a link.

    I am back on my game this week:

    This week's Deadpod features the 2nd set of this entertaining show from 9/24/91, Boston MA.
    Its one of those second sets that I really enjoy the song choices.. China->Rider is always a keeper, and Man Smart, Woman Smarter always got everyone on their feet! The Ship of Fools->Dark Star is fine as well. A rare Foolish Heart of space, and one of these later day 'Standing On the Moon' is very mellow.. The Weight encore caps a set that really does move my soul.

    9/24/91 - Grateful Dead
    Boston Garden - Boston, MA

    China Cat Sunflower ->
    I Know You Rider ->
    Man Smart (Woman Smarter) ->
    Ship Of Fools ->
    Dark Star ->
    Drums ->
    Space ->
    Foolish Heart ->
    I Need A Miracle ->
    Standing On The Moon ->
    Around And Around

    Encore:
    Crowd/Tuning
    The Weight

    The Ship of Fools goes out to the Captain.. my dear brother who is fighting cancer right now..
    Be strong and know we love you...........

    Be kind my friends...

    Lou, thank you thank you thank you for finding that show. I'm in KW right now sitting at the Gardens outside and one of the young ladies asked if I wanted the KW Citizen newspaper. "No thank you, I have my favorite newspaper in my paw's right now" I promptly showed her the BBOS site up on my phone. When Mrs. And I get back on Sunday I can't wait to check out that Boston show. You know the China/Rider fan I am. And of course Dark Star. Well after breakfast off to Smathers Beach for the day and close the day with the sunset from Mallory Square.

    Enjoy the Keys, bro! The Ship -> Dark Star made the hair on my neck stand up!

    Hopefully I will get the JGB show decompressed this weekend!
