The phone did come with BBM, I see the icon but never had the need to use it. I don't believe any of my friends have Blackberry's. I turn 66 in 18 more days. I use e mail to send jokes to my 2 boys and they e mail me pictures of the grandchildren and stuff but I never BBM them. I'm sure searching this site I will figure it out. On an aside I listened to that whole set, headphones on and seatbelt was fastened. I now moved up a few years to 77, May 8th. I have a great aud recording of this show. The Morning Dew is my favorite of all time. You hear the taper so into the ending crescendo he can't resist himself being quiet. Its priceless

Outstanding! I love the Fillmore East 1971 version (kicking off Disc 4).

Growing older is mandatory. Growing up is optional.

Here is BBM 5.0 if you need it.

That growing older expression is great. It fits me like a nice Jerry tie. When Bob (Ratdog) came to Orlando and I got us tickets Mrs said I was more excited than an eight year old on December 25th. And in the same respect I cried like an 8 year old not going up north to see one of the Dead shows this spring. But we did go to Key West and listened to the Meadowlands show simucasted in Captain Tony's Saloon. So once I go into BBM is it like e mail? Or forums? How do I know who I'm writing?

BBM is just an IM client for BlackBerry users only. You add contacts individually via PIN or barcode (barcode for 5.0 only). Just a convenient way to keep in touch with contacts.

Key West must have been awesome! I am so jealous!

Ok. That will be one of my tasks tomorrow to play with that BBM. Too funny I was reading that one post with "who has OBD" I was laughing so hard I woke up the Mrs. I think I may have that. Here it is 12:45 AM and reading Blackberry OS. As far as Key West we love it down there. Its about a 6 hour ride from where we live. We used to go down there once and even sometimes twice a year but since I retired last year (forced) from the Space Center we have gone there 4 times since. The sunsets from Mallory Square are breathtaking. The Victorian style mansions, the cute little conch cottages, and of course Duval Street. If you never been there I highly recommend it. We usually stay at a different B&B when we go there, The Old Town Manor, The Artist House, Heron House, but my favorite is The Gardens on Simonton Street.

Mrs. Wiid is from Tampa/St. Pete, so she has been to the Keys, but, alas, I have not. I will have to make that a vacation destination in the next few years.

That's on the opposite coast where I live. A little over a 2 hour ride. Mrs Jerry G and I have been to the Hard Rock there and we were kind enough to donate to them some money um um helped them upgrade their building um um lost a little bit gambling. They have the gambling boat here out of Port Canaveral but I don't like it as much cause sometimes you get sea sick. Like I said last night I'm gonna play with that BBM today. Well after I read the newspaper.....on my Blackberry. And one thing I like if there is nothing interesting in the Florida Today you can read the NY Daily News, or the Boston Globe, even the LA Times. Which will lead me into just another thing I learned from THIS site. Its so much better or shall I say faster when you use the Opera Mini. Its so much faster than the Internet that comes with the Blackberry. I can't figure that out but it is. Oh, one more tip if you ever get a chance to make it to Key West, try to go during their Fantasy Fest. Its incredible. Impossible to explain. Look at it on the internet when you have a chance

Thank you, man! I have seen Fantasy Fest footage on travel shows, so I will try to schedule accordingly. Have a great day!
