I have my eye on a couple shows that I will try to post this weekend as well.

This week's Deadpod features, yes, another show from 1973.. but speaking of *this* show as 'another show from 73' strikes me as a sacrilege simply because not only was this show, my baptism to the Grateful Dead, its one of their all-time classics, in my opinion.
While its true that your brains won't be melted until the Dark Star in the second set, the first set which we will play this week, features plenty of 'Good Old' Grateful Dead to get your blood flowin' during these cold Winter days....

    Grateful Dead - December 6, 1973
    Public Hall - Cleveland, OH
    Set 1:
    Bertha
    Mexicali Blues
    Loser
    Black Throated Wind
    They Love Each Other
Beat It On Down The Line
    Deal
    El Paso
    Row Jimmy
    Greatest Story Ever Told
    China Cat Sunflower ->
    I Know You Rider
    Around And Around

You can listen to this week's Deadpod here:

I hope you enjoy it as much as I always have!! thanks for picking us up, and for your support..

    Oregon County Fairgrounds - 8/27/1972

MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service

    Grateful Dead
    08/27/72
    Old Renaissance Fairground, Veneta OR

    Lineage:
    SBD->two-track MR->DAT->Sonic Solutions->CDR->EAC->
Sound Forge Edit (analog pop removal using pencil tool)->
Sound Forge Pitch Shift (antialias filter followed by pitch shift
    of +19 cents)

David Gans seeded the show (SBD->MR->DAT->Sonic Solutions->CDR).
Adam Jerugim obtained a CDR copy, EAC'd and uploaded it to orf.cx.
Leigh Orf did all the post-processing (Sound Forge stuff).

Note: This is *not* the Betty Board source which has circulated before.
This source came from a different two-track master reel (made by the
folks filming the Sunshine Daydream movie) and is mixed differently.

Lou I wanted to BBM you about this show but for the last week or so it says "contact is busy". Well you can also see a lot of this show on you tube under "Sunshine Daydream". Great footage, great sounds. Also since this is a Blackberry site, note the crowd wandering around. No one is fooling around on their phone

Doc has been a busy man lately... I say droid defecto!!! He can be reached via gtalk.

Side note: I made it halfway through this weeks Deadpod before the "Mouse Fish Poop" interrupted! I believe that would be a record...

Funny how you brought up the Droid Jason. Mrs and I were wandering around the mall yesterday and than strolled into the Verizon store and I fooled around with it for 10 minutes (5 of them spent watching "US Blues" on you tube with it. I didn't like it. Maybe cause I wasn't all that familiar how to work it. Anyway just got me thinking on how you mention Droid and I was fooling around with one yesterday and Lou post THAT show which I have been watching on you tube lately. Kinda ironic. Also watching that footage you see stuff you haven't seen in 30 years like the Bud Man. I forgot all about that guy
