I will see what I can dig up (it looks like we will be good to go). I had not really thought about the lack of shows in 1975, but you are correct (as usual!).

Also, I have a thought to put up an early 80s show from a locale that is near and dear to my heart and will come with a somewhat humorous anecdote.

Finally, as February draws near, we may have to dig for some of the last Keith and Donna shows over the next few weeks to commemorate the occasion. Requests are welcomed, as always!

    Have a Grate weekend!

Yeah I can agree the world is a much different place cause of Alice D Millionaire. I can say my world became a little more "colorful". Maybe some of his "concoctions" made there way east. Nice tidbit there Lou. Lke the second set, UJB, PITB, Around x2, Good Lovin. In my opinion the Comes a Time doesn't fit with that grouping. I wanted to BBM you this tidbit Lou but it said busy so I will mention it here. I like watching the NFL with the TV sound off and Jerry playing. So this Sunday I found 9/28/75. A unique show considering they didn't play all that many in 75. 2 highlights, the Help on the Way...whoa. Its the best version of it I ever heard. Jerry's playing is so good he's not only forgetting some words, he's forgerring complete versus. Also the Stronger Than Dirt...Wow. His playing the frist 5 or so minutes is superb. Oh, one last thing that was me listening g to it on a Maxell (hint hint)9/28/75 hint hint

I edited the set list. The Professor inadvertently omitted the Black Peter that comes before Around and Around.

FYI, even though not a sandwich, you'll love this PITB.

Than I'm gonna enter the Jerry zone after that enter the beach zone (upper 70's today) Oh, what did you think about that Help on the Way? Also when Mrs and I get back from the beach I will fool around on deadbase and look at some February shows.

    Encore:
    Dupree's Diamond Blues

I had the fortune of attending the Oregon County Fair in the summer of 1993. If you ever get a chance to go, it is truly a unique experience (from what I remember, that is).

I got to go because I was working security at an internal checkpoint for a friend. The person for whom I was filling in had the dubious distinction of totally harassing an older gentleman trying to get in a year or two before. Evidently, he did not have the right color badge or pass for the particular entrance. It was a huge to-do. Finally, some higher ups were called down to mediate. They looked at the older gentleman and, in like less than a second, said, "Right this way, Mr. Kesey. Sorry for the misunderstanding." He was totally cool about everything, but my friend never lived down the gaffe of all gaffes (in the Oregon County Fair universe, anyway).

One of the (many) things I love about this show is the interesting choice for the encore.
