    New to this site- Pearl 8120

    Hi everyone, I'm new to this site, got a BlackBerry Pearl 8120, had it since May, love it, love the way get my emails, facebook and twitter to my phone.


    Is there anyone one here on a Pearl 8120 that they have updated to the the new BBM V 5.0? Does it work? I heard horror story"s that it crashes your phone

    Would be much appreciated if someone could help me

    If I remember right there were a couple of members that got it to work. Let me see if I can find which OTA/file they used

    OK, my boyfriend has done that for me (JMarkyBB), its installed, its listed in applications, but there is no Icon, what do I do next?

    This is for a carrier overseas. Make sure to click the Pearl 8120 for that software here. Also make sure you go to C:/Program Files ((x86) if there is the option)/Common Files/Research In Motion/App Loader and in the App Loader folder, scroll to the bottom and delete "Vendor .xml" file and your good to go
