Thread: 9360 os 7.1.0.523 update not detected

Hi. I have a 9360 with OS 7.1.0.336 and I'm very unhappy with it. My phone heats a lot when I'm using it, the battery won't last a day, it gets stuck randomly and times, and it take about 10 minutes just to boot. So I downloaded and installed the official OS 7.1.0.523 and Desktop Manager 7.1.0.32 on my pc(win7) but the update won't be detected. Please help, I want to update this os

I can help you with installing OS7.1.0.523 for your BlackBerry Curve 9360 device.

Have you removed the vendor.xml file(s)?

Check this thread out: How To search for & delete your vendor.xml file.

Thanks Grimreaper... I did it and now my BB is updated with os 7.1.0.523!! Hey but I thought the vender.xml files are deleted only if you wanna install an unofficial os

The vendor.xml file is deleted anytime you install an OS other than your carriers official version.
