I'd reckon the 9900 (NFC enabled) Blod is a very good pair device for the BlackBerry Playbook. They are quite expensive though. A 9810 Torch2, comes with 4G LTE and 802.11a/b/g/n wich means that if using hotspots for browsing, you'll get 300Mbps.

Hi merlin29, welcome to the best BlackBerry forum on the web. Here you will be able to learn all there is to know about your PlayBook, even if you didn't want to know. That's because we know it all, (or at least we think we do). And if we don't know, we find out for you.
We have the best members anywhere, and the best Moderators there are, just ask us and we'll confirm that rumor.

A great thread to visit is here, PlayBook Tips, Tricks, & How To for a good place to find fun stuff to do with the PalyBook, and read through the threads here, BlackBerry PlayBook, to see what is going on with the PlayBook. Several of us also own the PlayBook, so there will always be answers to any of your questions.

Please feel comfortable to ask us anything at all, scan around the forum, and read the BlackBerryOS Rules and Guidelines and the BlackBerry Forums FAQ to get a feel of how things run here.
Once again, thanks for joining us here at

I have the Bold 9930/9900 and it's a great device. If you can first get your hands on one to try them out would be ideal before you buy. Otherwise, if you can't, then it's really about whether you want full touch screen or one with a QWERTY.

Good luck, let us know what you decide on for a phone.

Are you sure about the 9810 comeing with 4G LTE from what I understand is BlackBerry doesn't have any LTE phones that have been releast for sale. What AT&T call's 4G is not true 4G & not LTE
