Reporting A Post - Why & How To Do It

This thread describes how to report a post and why you would want to use this feature. Any registered member can report a post here at BlackBerryOS.

Some examples of when to report a post are:

• Spam
• Offensive posts
• Flaming/Bashing of a member or web site
• Or any post that violates the BlackBerryOS Rules and Guidelines

1. In the bottom left corner of every post you will see the following icon.

2. Once you click that icon the following screen will appear. In the post box please write why you are reporting the post, once finished click the send report button.

3. When you have sent the report a new thread will be generated in the team member section that only ::bbos:: staff can view. Here is a sample of the threads that are generated in our section when a report is sent.

4. Your report shows the information typed in while reporting, the original post, the original poster, and the link-back to that thread.
   This is a great tool to help keep ::bbos:: the friendly, spam free site that it has always been.
   
   Any reported post will handled by the BlackBerryOS Staff appropriately & confidentially. This is just one more tool that makes BlackBerryOS.com a safe and fun place to hang out. :D

Updated the proper way to report a post. Icon changed location, but the process and reason for doing this are still the same.
