Right, sometimes people have the misconception that they can wipe the device clean and they'll get more attempts to unlock the device with password. This is wrong.

I hope you have a backup because this can end very bad. After so many attempts to input your password (10 I think) your BlackBerry will wipe itself. There are no backdoor ways of resetting this...
