I am d_1000 and I have a problem. I am addicted to my black Macbook (10.5.7) and my Storm.
I sync using Google Sync after giving up on PocketMac and Missing Sync - they are both horrible. I also run VM Fusion and XP. I only have Windows because of my bb and OS addiction.

I'm a Mac user. I have a black 2.4 GHz Macbook running 10.5.7 and I also run XP thru VMWare.

I am mac user as well.

Been using Macs since '89 but also know my way around DOS, Windows & *NIX OSes.


I currently use a 2.8GHz Core Dual Extreme (the only CDE released & I'm not sure what the "Extreme" is ) 24" iMac and a 2.53GHz 13" MacBook Pro. Both have Vista using Boot Camp & VMWare.

I always wondered what the"Extreme" meant. Those are some nice toys

Yes they are, thanks. I really need to quit using these BlackBerries here on BBOS & use my MacBook Pro.


Having a CDE & not knowing what the "Extreme" is makes me think it's a marketing ploy and nothing more.

Yeah I always found a full keyboard to work better than a 3 inch one, but that's just me lol

Independent Apple consultant & Mac user for life here (meaning I started out in Turtle draw, and was hooked ever since). The whole family runs Mac.

Current machines:
17" MacBook Pro (late '07), 2.4 GHz Core 2 Duo / 4GB Ram
13" Macbook Aluminum ('08), 2.4 GHz Core 2 Duo / 4GB Ram
G4 Server
Airport Extreme, Express, & Time Portal (yeah, WiFi overload... I think I've got radiation sickness)
And, oh yeah... hacked Apple TV.

We do have a Windows machine. We use it to hang our dive gear on to dry in the shed.

HA HA that's Awesome!

Running a 2.53ghz MacBookPro with intel core duo. Also have XP installed via bootcamp, but run it in parallels most of the time.

Just made the big leap to a Mac. Scored a box-perfect G5 2.5 Ghz dual processor PPC, man is this thing fast compared to the bloatware ridden windows!
My question is; How is one to load an OS with this? Is there a tutorial on the site, or can a goo-roo help out with this? I would love to rid myself of windoze once and for all, and I think if I can load an OS on the Mac, I can kick the PC to the curb.
