Well I will give it a try when I get home form work in a short time, and let you know how it goes. I hope that I won't have to do battery pulls every 1/2hr as well.
Again thank you

Sorry one last thing. This was all I was able to find on installing a leaked OS and is from Crackberry; I tried a link that was on BlackberryOS on another thread but said the thread was deleted. I also tried searching for another thread but haven't been having much luck. Here is what I have. Please let me know if this is good ro there is anything extra I will need to do. All your help is greatly appreciated. I just want to make sure I do it correctly the first time.
Download the leaked OS
Back up data on Desktop Manager under Back up/restore option. NOTE: If you get an error during this process, clear your browser cache (Browser > Menu Key > options > cache operation > clear all of them)
Back up your 3rd party apps. How to backup 3rd party applications
Disconnect your BB from Desktop Manager
Download desired OS to your PC
Install/run OS to PC
If you are NOT on Verizon, delete vendor.xml file. It’s located in c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader
Connect BB to Desktop Manager and it should
Click Application Loader
Click Update
At this point, disconnect your computer from the internet
Select the OS you would like to load and continue
Do not unplug BB during the process. It will take around 20-90 minutes to complete upgrade.
That will do it. If you have any questions during the install there is an incredible team here that will help you get through it.
Here is a how to on How To Back Up and Restore Your Third Party Apps
I downloaded the software onto my computer, when I go to update my phone with DM it only shows 4.7.
A few things;
Did you delete the vendor.xml file, C:/program files/common files/research in motion/apploader, delete file
Dont use the DM to upgrade, go to C:/program files/common files/research in motion/apploader and use the program that looks like a phone (Loader.exe) this will load the OS to your device.
