Thread: BBCrackman Hybrids

Anyone know if there is a hybrid in the works, or is anyone planning/willing to make a hybrid, with the new 5.0.0.140? I'm running 5 since it was leaked and def. is playing nice w/ my phone and would love to see BBCM take the os to the next level. So was curious to see if anyone is even planning on making a 5.0.0.140 hybrid.

Not a lot of the files can be used out of .140 and it is a definite no go on the radio at all. BBC has cooked up something and it should be released soon

I'm a bit antsy to see what BBCM has created... of the main hybrids, BBCM v7.1.4-.151 ran the fastest and smoothest (though I have been messing with OOAKDPC's latest creation... enjoying it and it runs pretty well, but excited to see what BBCM will be putting out.

I have been running BBC's V8 (his latest hybrid) and all I can say is wow. If have pretty much punished this hybrid as best I know how and it keeps on ticking. Every app works, excellent battery and memory. Zero typing lag and I mean zero. Browser is fantastic. If you liked 7.1.4 this is a major step up IMO

O man, this wait is killing me. I only use BBC's hybrid's as they never give me any problem installing or removing. So i guess u can say BBC never gave me a reason to go to any other. Yea i've been keeping eye out on the forums for when it releases, every night, the last thing i do..check here to see if it's out yet..lol. BBC's hybrids just get better and better...I've been using his since the first v7 came out (first time i ever tried a hybrid) and has installed each release up to v7.1.4. It just gets better and better. I love 5.0 but there's little things here and there that I wouldn't mind tuning up.

I am with you BBC's hybrid has been the only one that worked and worked well for me. I prefer I hybrid I can install and know that my phone will work when I need it to

I have to agree that the BBOS crew definitely has my respect :hail: and respond lightning fast to any and all issues you may have. I am incredibly impressed with how quickly I get answered... sometimes it really is a bit creepy, like the messages that we post are being read before we even finish posting it.

Nonetheless, I want my own copy of BBCM 8. I CANNOT WAIT ANY LONGER!!!!!!!!!

But seriously, I am not good at being patient when it comes to tweaks for my BlackBerry... it's actually pretty sad that I am so impatient when waiting for apps/OS for my blackberry. I just can't wait. I want everything and anything that can improve the functionality of my blackberry... and i want it NOW! :damnit1:

It was released to the VIP's last night so it will still be a couple of days till it pokes it's head up in the public.
