    so far seems real solid.
haven't found any issues. my BES was down right after my update last night so i'll have more time to test today.

    .:EDIT:.
well loving it as i thought i would
    - 3rd party apps are installing great. (games, berrybuzz, gmaps, quicklaunch,etc...)
    - browser seems more responsive and much faster than the previous hybrid i was using. (maybe i'm crazy though)
    - BBM forward contact and send my contact info are working which did not work in the last hybrid i used
    - start up time seems about standard - but with a solid os who needs to restart ever?
    - voice dial is included!!!!
    - media card scanning times are excellent.

if I find anything else i'll update.

What do I need to do to install this hybrid? Does it include an installer or do I copy and paste the files into .297 or .301 java? I have .297 and .301 on my laptop.

Download the zip file, extract the installer. Its default install directory is 301, if youre installing into 301 then just run the installer. If you are going to install into 297 then you will have to point it to that file when you install. Then install to your phone when you are done.

Thanks heaps, Crackman. I've downloaded V3 and will try to install it after work tonight. What different OS modules should I be looking for once the install is done?

Thanks again. Really looking forward to trying this hybrid out. Was getting bored with the same OS for the last few weeks. Really liked 5.0.0.190 but it kept rebooting whenever I was roaming. There must be another 5.0 beta/official release soon.

I just installed this morning and thus far working well on both 2 and 3G.
    I have installed
    QSMS
    BeeJive
    Google Voice
    Google Mobile App
    Social Scope
    Opera 5
    TwitVid
    Google Maps 3.0.2

Ill do some more testing but it looks solid thus far.

@crackman Can we get some details as to what the hybrid consists of?
I see that it has some 5.0 fonts, but is that all? what have you customized?

    Thanks

    Drew

Have used other hybrids and they have been great, but these one is awesome. I was like a kid with candy last night while doing my phone. Thanks BBC for sharing all your hard work.

Well I've just loaded BBC v3 and noticed only a few 5.0.0.190 cods. Nonetheless, it's running very smoothly and fast, faster than the official .301. Boot up time is fast as is media loading. App memory is up too. So far so good. I'll post back in a few days re findings. Thanks BBC.

Just install this and am impressed so far. I have 10 mb more memory after reboot (now at 45) and everything seems to run smoothly. I haven't tried everything yet, but so far what I have tried is great.

thank you so much for posting this for us!
