I'm pretty sure he meant that Viigo doesn't work with this hybrid. The previous version had the same issue, Viigo won't load.

I am having the same issue with Viigo. I even tried using the news version. It shows it is running in the background, but doesn't come up on screen and have to reboot to get it to close. Can this be fixed?

It honestly sounds like (from what I have heard) that viigo does not work on this build :(

I believe BBC does not use viigo so that might be the issue as to why it does not work. Apparently none of the testers did either. I am sure he will take this into account on the next update :)

Is anyone having problems with the phone constantly rebooting - this is day 2 with this os and my phone rebooted at 11 and again just now.

i have had minimal reboots maybe one or two since the first day he released it. both caused by me switching songs too often in media player. but that seems to be an issue in any os i use.

nice job,

greatly improved radio - i can now browse ubertwitter on my loo - could not with xonz v2

- No reboots or dropped calls in 24 hours
- battery is stable, no big change, better than average
- Memory stable at 41+ better than average
- crackberry.com (data hungy site) took 20 seconds to load - fast (ish) browser

Biggest imporovement for me is the radio reception.

i got the bbcrackman's hybrid v3.. downloaded the bbm and it downloaded fine.. i just dont know where it is.. as in i cant find it on my device, it took off the old one but i cant find the new one.. and when i downloaded again it told me that i already have it, but how can i find it?

Try deleting it, rebooting, then reinstalling BBM.

just realized i was posting in the wrong thread before.... damn phone i guess i clicked on the wrong one in mobile.

anyways.... after multiple uninstalls and reinstalls i have had no luck. does anyone know if there is a difference between downloading from appworld and getting it from blackberrys site?

Same for me. I can't see the icon....

However, I just downloaded BBM Version 5.0.0.8 and installed it after deleting the newer version.

Can't delete it from your phone?

Options > Advanced > Applications > highlight blackberry messenger > menu > delete.

Follow-up
My 5.0.0.8 worked just fine but tonight the bbm icon changed. It told me to upgrade which I did. My icon disappeared again!!!!!

is it a hybrid issue? do i go to a normal OS?

I run on 4.6.0.301 with bbcrackman's hybrid V.3

I can uninstall bbm by going to options/advanced options/applications. It's there.
