Thread: Xonz Bold Hybrid v2.1 (Add some .301 files)

I noticed after I installed this hybrid, location aiding in GPS page has gone. Did I do something wrong? Any idea? please...

Any update on a new version (like maybe one that uses 5.0)? Also, is it possible to use whatever modules from the 8900 allow you to have UMA? It would be incredible if I could use the Bold to make voip calls like you can on an 8900. I assume that the hardware will allow it and that it is a software issue. Correct?

Xonz, how much longer until the 5.0 hybrid is out? All the applications I use are now officially working for 5.0 and I would love to be able to use 5.0 finally. Please give us some sort of ETA.

I'm just going to wait for Xonz's 5.0 hybrid...5.0 is great. So fast. I don't think I can go back to 4.6 now. All the apps that I use work so yea, no need to go back down.

I'm kinda of confused, can someone tell me why are there 2 different links for java files to download, what's the difference & which one do I use?

The first link is for the java files for 2.0

The second link is the full exe

The third link is just java files but for 2.1

so after I install .297, I install the full exe next, then what? I thought the 2.0 java file would be installed with the full exe.

That I am not sure about? To be honest I don't have a bold so i have never messed around with any of xonz's work

But I would guess you install .297 onto your pc then install the exe over that just like most hybrids. He might have included the java file only if you wanted to use it on a different base?

thanks bryan, that's what i was thinking also, i've installed one of his hybrids before, but i've never copied java files as a update to a hybrid, so it kinda lost me for a second. So basically these are the same files from 2.0 wit the exception of the 2.1 java files that will need to be copied into the .297 Java folder after I install the full exe?

I thought the full exe was 2.1 in full? I am pretty sure it is. I believe if you install the exe you will get 2.1 and won't need to take any further actions

Is it possible to just install the .190 browser file and have everything still work?

Not sure, but I would guess not.

when I installed this hybrid ver 2.1, i select install BBM and after reload.

the bbm is not working.

i am using 9000jEastAsia_PBr4.6.0_rel517_PL4.0.0.247_A4.6.0.2 97_AT_amp_T.exe



now revert back using ver 2.0 with bbm5

when i install ver 2, i did not select any additional just reload the default and after reload use DM to install the rest and this time the bbm 5 is working.
