If everything works correctly, loader will recognize the new javas and prompt the upgrade/downgrade. Good luck

Well I wiped and reloaded, but still no modules from 4.6.0.301 showing up. Mostly .297 with some from previous and the Browser from .190 etc.

Most strange, oh well....

Okay, think I've figured it out, loading again!

So does this fix the slow media scan of the media card when you first do a battery pull?
Also for the full installation, where do you point the hybrid to? the java folder or just the OS folder?

Scanning of the media card seems to be at pre- .282 speeds, same with viewing picture thumbnails.

You point the full install at the OS folder then unzip the update files and copy them to the Java folder.

So when I aim the full installation download to the OS folder, itll make a .zip file and I unzip that towards the Java folder?

No. You need to download the full install file and point it to the OS folder, you also need to download the Ugrade2.1.rar file. Once you've ran the full install exe and pointed it to the shared folder where .297 is, unzip the Upgrade file and copy the contents into the Java folder.

Ill install when I get back from my drivers license test! Hope to have great battery life first and foremost, but I also want my fast media scans!

With two separate devices, BBM did not load properly

The icon was there, when I task-switched, I didn't get "Blackberry Messenger" rather rim_something...

I re-installed from a BBM5 OTA link for it to work again

...but none of my BBM contacts's Avatars are downloading...

I had something similar, re-downloaded via OTA but all contacts missing, did another restore from the backup I'd made and that sorted everything. Hope it works for you too.

I have same problem.

I tried to download BBM5 from this link RapidShare: 1-CLICK Web hosting - Easy Filehosting
Extract it and replace xonz java folder with this file, after that do like xonz instruction to install Hybrid.

Now my BBM5 works with all my contact avatar. I hope it will works with you too.

The avatars will load on their own. If not, just do a battery pull and give it time. Sometimes they take a bit.

I have a problem can not lock GPS signal and using gps navigation on blackberry maps. Is anybody have the problem same as I am? and how to fix it?

BBM installed fine for me but I would like to know if it is possible to not have BBM 5 on here. I would prefer if the BBM that is packaged with 4.6 is on there. Also, I have noticed a bad battery drain. I just charged my phone this morning and am at 35 percent at 10 30 pm with moderate use today. I am usually able to get 1 and a half days on my battery with the amount of usage that I had. Memory is good (leveled off at 40 MB). It also takes a long time still to load picture thumbnails (some people report that it is faster but I do not see this).

Its working well try it outside, bb gps for indoor not having a strong signal

Maybe there a mistake when upgrade...

U could try install 297 1st in your pc and install the hybrid..
Its having a solid battery.. without drain..
