Thanks again bryan. I didnt know if there was another one that was higher. I had just started having an issue with my old os the other day. So Im glad there was a new hybrid.

do i need to install a specific platform before installing this hybrid...currently running v7

You need to install 151 for this hybrid.

OK i asked this over in findings n fixes awhile back to no answer.... and searched... but..

Has anyone had any MMS issues with 8.5? For some reason mine work for the first hour after a BP then stop...(cant retrieve msg) it get the "unable to recieve msg" line and when i goto "retrieve now" i get nothing... If i do a BP, then hit "retrieve now" it works again.

hmmm I have heard a few users... who is your carrier, and have you tried registering the host routing table again?

yep, tried svc books, HRT, everything

Good to see you on here Drukan! I ran v8.5 for a long time and had no issues like this. I'm also on Verizon. I take it you have wiped and reloaded to eliminate a corrupt install as the issue?

and I have never had this problem either when i had 8.5 on mine... I am not sure Drukan.. my next best guess would be to try an MMS.cod from another release maybe .148 and see if that fixes it... I will keep looking into if and let you know if I find anythign

well were discussing this over in the findings fixes thread now.. seems 4 others have the prob too.

Yes ive wiped and installed 3 times now.

I just asked the cod question in the other thread... so i might try that out tnite and ill post my results on the other thread for those others with the prob.

Hey bro, I just discovered that I am not able to use my BT w/music. I cannot even delete one of my headsests. Am actually getting irritated with the white screen issue. I wanted your opinion w the infamous v8.5 w/.151 OS. It worked flawlessly w/my storm and "ALL" my apps worked and NO white screen issue. Can you refresh my memory w/the obvious features of that OS again..Like flick scroll, thread sms..etc..I may be going back to that

Thats crazy...all these os softwares floating around....which one is the best to go with...honestly..i have to know..howmuch of a difference do they all be from the last one.....someone please say. Let me know

Some of it is just personal preference. A good place to start is with either an official or leaked OS.

Just went back to BBC V8.5 from .230. This Os has been the best and most stable OS I have ever run. .230 was good but the USB issue just became to much. I use my phone as my MP# player and I couldn't transfer music without it disconnecting for some unknown reason. I'll keep using this hybrid until a solid 5.0 OS drops.
