    After Trying the 297...

    LOL Dont Know but in 297 Almost the same as My Hybrid

    From the performance...
    Stability and other.. Loading Pic in media feel a lil bit slow though...

    It Should had... still testing the 297 for any flaw...

    looking from every aspect still like testing my own hybrid..

    One feature from 5.0.0.100 that I can't live without is the customizable vibration lengths. I would make an SMS three short, a BBM two short, and emails one long, etc.

    Is there any way you can implement that into the next Hybrid release?

    Started at 8:10pm

    1. downloaded the new att release: 9000M_PBr4.6.0_rel508_PL4.0.0.243_A4.6.0.297_AT_am p_T.exe

    2. started desktop manager and did a full backup of the blackberry (currently at 4.6.0.291)

    3. closed desktop manager, and opened BBSAK

    4. BBSAK -> Backup Apps

    5. BBSAK -> Wipe Device

    ** Note: Blackberry Will display "Reload Software 507" on the screen.

    6. Install the New At&t Release by double clicking on the exe file.

    7. Install the Hybrid OS and point it to the hybrid install directory above

    8. Ran the Launcher.exe file WITHOUT deleting the vendor.xml file since it is a legit release.

    9. After the load was completed and sitting at the menu, i pulled the battery and put it back in 3 times, each time waiting 60 seconds before putting the battery in.

    Current Version on Phone is 4.6.0.291

    10. Desktop Manager - Restored the messages (mms, sms) from before

    11. BBSAK - Restored Apps

    12. Restart the BB 2 times.

    13. ** power up time from lights on timer to right after security settings menu was: 1:25:78
    ** started enterprise activation on reboot, so i cancelled it and pulled the battery again
    ** power up time now is: 1:19:54
    ** power down for 60 seconds
    ** power up time: 1:17:36

    14. Uninstalled the BB Update from Add/Remove Programs

    15. Removed directory: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files\9000-v4.6.0.297_P4.0.0.243

    16. Removed directory: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader

    17. Installed the new BB Software again

    18. Ran the launcher right after the installation.

    19. Desktop manager came up adn told me there were updates available (screen shots attached).

    20. Ran the update, the window disappeared and the desktop manager said no update is required.



    unfortunately when i run loader.exe it considers the update a downgrade.

    Big night out there with new beta software. 5.0.0.190 for Bold out there for Xonz to play with. Another chance to work on the new version of hybrid. A developers dream I suspect.
