Thread: Xonz Bold Hybrid v1.0 (w/ All the Best can get)

Just a quick note to thank Xonz for the development of this package!! It installed easy, reboots in under 45 seconds from battery pull and all 3rd party applications work perfectly. The key is rebooting and with that BES came up and working fine!! If you could get UMA going, that would be the icing on the cake!!!

No it is not, but recommended

I backed up everything, wiped and ran the install without any issues. I do the wipe to ensure that nothing interferes with the new install.

So everything went down smoothly. No problems with emails. But BBM is lagging bad after the change. Also my browser is reeally slow. Pages time out. I can't download Facebook App even because of the timeouts.

Any ideas? I've battery pulled once, and the second time QuikPulled.

Oh, I forgot to mention, boot up just went for 6 minutes :/ Not cool.

Because only few that use it.. and it consume free mem too

how can i verify that it installed correctly ?

i wipes the phone and it loaded great.

however, in the application list,

blackberry messenger still shows 4.6.0
and same with the blackberry browser

but i know the messenger is running 5.0

gO TO option>advance option>application>modules.. u can see that the browser has been change to 5.0

I figured out that my heat / battery issue was due to BuzzMe Pro (needed to change message blink to stop upon opening the messages app rather than on all read). Unfortunately I figured that out after I went back to stock 282. Rather than go back to the hybrid now, I plan to wait for AT&T to release their update tomorrow. What are the chances that this hybrid will work?

Xonz will be putting out a new hybrid soon based on the .297 AT&T official release

Will the new hybrid include UMA? Maybe? Hopefully? Please?
