Thread: 4.5 Hybrid With 4.6/5.0 Files

Morning and welcome bill... ok lets start from step one since I am just getting in, your phone is at the 507 screen correct?

I think I did everything correctly, my phone is back up and running but I don't see anything different. Is there any way to find out if I did it right and updated the right files?

Welcome to BlackberryOS Joe

On your phone go to options>advanced> application >and highlight the system core and hit your bb key and choose modules. Scroll down thought the list and you should see some 5.0 files on there.

lyricidal friend said that you install in a 8320 and it works great so unique is that the wifi does not work we could do in that case.

Give this a try: go to clock app options > when charging: choice's are do nothing, display clock, enter bedside mode.

In the future will there be a hybrid for the 8350i especially with the browser from 5.0? I am currently running 4.6.1.204.

What he means is....if we could please get the BB Clock application in our device. I also would like this.

Hey guys thanks for all of ur help. I did load a hybrid my app ver is now 4.6.0.291(499) works fine.

Now does this mean i get the word mole game and load themes for any 4.6 os?

I would say no. you could try it but those usually require more than the hybrid.. worst that will happen is you will get its not compatible or you will have to use DM to remove the app

My question is, once i download the hybrid, can i install word mole game on to my 8310?
