My first three bricks came from this, no clue what i did, maybe not my day or my bold didn't like this, been kewl to see, i ran 5.0.0.130 is seriously fast but work week coming up need to have more stable OS for work. I tried to install this three times all three times my phone bricked, so i'am staying with BBcrackman.

Did U wipe Ur BB first?

Here is the quick step...
1. Uninstall all OS in the pc
2. Install .291 official t-mobile
3. Instal the hybrid os...

Thanks Xonz for 291 hybrid, its work on my Bold (vendor id 144). Loading application faster than 282 Hybrid, all program running well excluded Viigo (not using anymore). Great Job bro.

First off, thank you for posting this. Sorry if my questions seem stupid but I have had some trouble installing Hybrid's on my phone and I wanted to make sure I do this right. I have no problem installing an official OS but for some reason Hybrids have given me a hard time.

I just wanted to clarify the installation process if you don't mind. I will delete the desktop manager as I wanted to switch from DM 5.0 to 4.7. Delete all OS's on my hard drive and wipe my BB clean. Then...

1. Install .282 again.
2. Install base .291 from the download link you provided.
3. Install your Hybrid (I chose to install the files in the research in motion folder > Shared > Loader Files > then I just select the .282 folder

Do I have to delete Crackman's Hybrid from my hard drive? If so how do I do that as I have gone to remove it from my PC yet I can't find it.

We start from deleting all OS in your pc after that
1. Instal the base .291 from the download link I provided
2. Instal the Hybrid that i provided
3. Wipe your bold to make sure clean instal
4. Instal to your bold


Dont forget to Backup!!

After using 291 hybrid all day, my bold restart 3 times when using internet browser and when I type Myver at BB Messenger show the version of BB Messenger not the version of OS as usual. So I decided downgrade to 282 Hybrid.

Unfortunately, you do need DM to restore your phone.

Seems pretty stable so far, except when u get 2 da email setup app part in da setup wizard. There's no choice 4 personal email accounts, it just shows da work email account selection

Thanks Bro Xonz for the patch but I rather stay at 282 Hybrid for a while, until someone post this patch review.

I just installed it and everything runs smoothly. However, when i open the browser and enter a url it performs a reboot, everytime. And I did install the patch. Just so I know I did it right...I downloaded the zip file unziped and placed it in the folder you stated above.

Have you resent service books? If problem still exists, I would recommend a wipe and reinstall. Keep us posted.

Same here on the reboots. I have the patch installed as well.
It seems that it is every site that requires javascript.
Everything works fine with javascript unchecked in browser option.
