i have tried it and it seems to perform better than .151 radio with the current bundle(hybrid)...

- added more 5.0.0.140 files
- added as many .164 files as possible
- better memory stability & performance

Now the hybrid uses:
- .164 radio
- .151 base files
- around 92 files from 5.0.0.140 OS
- around 10 files from 4.7.1.40 OS
- around 108 files from .164 OS
- new BBM 5.0
- latest version of Facebook (1.6.0.21)
- latest version of Documents To Go (1.007.042)

nope.. .164 base os has a lot of bugs... specially in case of the messaging apps... so... wouldn't be a good decision...

Yes it's on the radio.. Been workin on OS 5 but can't manage to get the FaceBook application to work. I hope you will come with a new OS 5 hybrid with all 3rd party support. Eventhough I've shared my hybrid you're still 9500 supremo Gabriel... Two thumbs up

Gabriel, i tried a fresh install now, copied your files over them. At uploading the device crashes and error 507 with blanc screen.

I am now back to .164 version original.

Perhaps one of the files didn't get copied over or started to copy over and failed resulting in a corrupt OS.

ok... try this...
make a backup copy of your current os folder...
then... empty the folder... then extract the hybrid(2.0.6 for 9500) to the folder ...
wipe your device and install... should work fine...

i put this hybrid on thanks i like it alot but one thing do i have to have Documents To Go on my phone for it to update as i havenot and there is still no Documents To Go on my phone please help and again very good OS

no you don't... simply select documents to go (tick the checkbox)... to have it installed during os installation...

I cant wipe the device as this needs reactivation, i am on BES, as our IT dep. is in Australia i have timezone probs etc.

I downloaded latest version, copied it over the existing files. Now it says: No need to install new software as the files you want to upload are older as the files installed on the device.

I think i need to wait for a next version then ?

there should not be any problem with BES after wiping ...
if you follow the BES reactivation process... the mods can guide you to the appropriate thread...
even without wiping... if you use the apploader then there should be an option to delete all existing apps.... if you select that ... then it should reinstall all... also... no need to use it over your existing os... you can use the hybrid directly...

i have installed your hybrid. it works great, but there is just one question on the memory leak. it seems to be holding the memory quite good at the beginning. but after 2-3 hours it starts to leak. like 1 mb per hour. i installed it after i wiped it and only restore the contacts. i have berryweather, blink, iberry blacklist/whitelist on the background. could one of those applications be the reason? tried it without blink and have berryweather and iberry blacklist running, still the leak happened. Now, i closed the berryweather application and it's been 1.5 hrs since i uninstalled the berryweather and the memory seems to be holding at 43.9mb (-0.4 mb from start). will keep you updated and if you know that one of those applications is causing leak, please let me know.

well... seems like you have a few apps which are reputed for memory leaks... specially: memory up pro, berry weather, battery booster..etc... i'm sure the mods & experts will be able to name a few more...
btw... what theme's are you using...?? some themes seem to be causing memory leaks as well...

i have fb, google maps, google sync, meterberry, heroberry theme, gmail running on mine and the memory seemed very stable for the last 2 days...
please let me know your findings...

not really... i'm not a fan of weather apps...

@Gabriel, I reported that the v.2.0.6 has adopted OS.164's trait which is not friendly with third-party themes. In my first two hours with this hybrid, I failed to use Crystal Clear and Android Storm2 :17:
