i even wiped, re-downloaded the os, reloaded & re-downloades viigo. Still no good. Wheres the megaupload file for .282?

Thanks but Downloaded the one from the blackberry site twice and both times the hybrid has been great but no viigo. I figured maybe I'll try a different download link.

Have you check all the permissions in Options/Advanced Options/Applications?

Yea I tried everything. Currently loading the CSL version of .282. I'll keep ya posted.

First of all, thanks, Crackman! I'm loving this build. It's fast and stable. So far not a single error and everything I've tested works great. I'm at about 17 hours uptime or so and going strong with improved browser speed and free memory.

I was a bit sad to see that word wrap still wasn't present in the browser. I tried making a hybrid for a couple days, and while I managed to teach myself a thing or two, I could never get it to load onto the phone properly. I've since hypothesized that my .alx for the browser .cod files wasn't properly edited. Anyway, I love having the app compatibility of 4.6 with the browser zippiness of 5.0. My question is, do you think there's any way to work more of the visual elements of 5.0 into the 4.6 platform?

I'd love to see the startup progress bar, the browser search button pulldown and word wrap fix, and perhaps the flick style picture viewer of 5.0 make it into a hybrid. I'd also be extremely excited if whatever contains the api that automatic wallpaper switchers use could somehow be built into 4.6... but I'm not help as I've no idea what that api is and what it woul take to successfully jam it into a hybrid.

Anyway, thanks for sharing the fruits of your labor, and I look forward to participating here. It looks like a great place to learn more BB-fu.

No dice with CSL either. Does anyone have a link to download viigo 3.1.324? worth a shot. I love this OS but i need my viigo.

I tried viigo for 4.7+ and still no good. I click on the app and the screen locks. If I press the end button, I can work again but it won't open the app at all.

I decided to go back to the regular .282 beta. If anyone figures out the viigo fix, please lemme know. Thanks for all your help. I'm lookin forward to BBC bold hybrid v2.

someone let me know if you're having the same problem, but i am not getting times in the recent dialled number and missed calls.. not even having the signs that shows received dialled and missed... at the beggining i thought it could be a theme problem.. but i tried a different theme.. and same thing....:confused::confused:

Sign for having calls or missed call still works only the viigo app that isnt working.. had tried some ways and still not working even permission si allow all

I did a wipe and installed Hybrid and everything works except for viigo. However, I like the Hybrid OS so much that I have kept it on my phone and am anxiously awaiting V2 that will hopefully fix the Viigo issue. Great Job Crackman!

After a full day of use my feedback earlier in the thread pretty well sums it up for me. Overall excellent hybrid but battery life is significantly worse than .266. Not sure what to attribute that to since I changed nothing else it has to be something with the hybrid. BBC what's your thoughts on battery life?

I will definitely grab v2 when it drops, do you have an ETA? Always ready & willing to try the next best thing. This is my first BBC Hybrid but I like what I see so far :D

This being my first post and my welcoming into the forum, I have been using the hybrid OS for a full day. I am pleased to report that I have so far not encountered any real issues. As for my battery life... I don't know why.. but it has improved.

The one thing I'm curious about (and I don't know if it is FB's problem) is that it does not sync with my BB calendar or Address Book like it says it should.

Thanks for the amazing hybrid and looking forward to V2! Will keep you guys updated of anything else I find!

Make sure your Facebook application is set under options to Connect calendar and contacts with your Facebook account:

Also go to options > advanced > service books > and make sure you have an entry called Facebook CICAL. If not, resend your service books.

If your contacts give you trouble you can Connect your Facebook friends to your BB contact list manually by going to your friends list, highlighting a friend, hit menu key, then Connect to BlackBerry Contact.
