    it started up.. i turned on the wireless.. and i was checking it out and i got app error 523...

    there are no apps on it.. bbm wasnt on it either.. i just ran the loader again but it said bbm version 4.6

    just to make sure you followed the installation process correctly?
    first installed .282 to the pc, ran the hybrid installer, the loaded to the phone right?, bbm5 should be there

    ok good to go now =) i have to finish packing for my VACATION! lol i have to leave for the airport in about 6 hours... i don't know how much use i'll make of my blackberry while away but will definitely provide feedback

    i've got os.282 on my bold,should i download and install the os.282 that you attach? or i just download and install the bold v1.0 file? FYI, i've removed os.282 from my computer

    Download and install the .282 to the computer, then download and install the Hybrid into the 282 os. Then go to c:/program files/common files/research in motion/apploader, in this folder you will delete the vendor.xml file and then double click the loader.exe program (looks like a phone), this is the program that will install the OS to your device.
