doubt you will see any os updates.. the 8330m/8330 will be being replaced by the end of the year by the new curve.... you will have to live off the hybrids

I've tried to download the hybrid...and get "the application is not compatible with your device"??

yes is that were you you putting them

and did you overwrite the existing ones?

they are under the java folder when I go to the loader files..what do I need to do??? cuz I am spechul...:duh: lol

the alx files should be there... I would start by uninstalling the os from your pc, and then reinstalling it... once reinstalled you will extract the hyrbid to C>programfiles>commonfiles>RIM>shared>loader>4.5.0 .169>Java> make sure you open the java folder and say yes to overwriting all of the ones that it asks

tell me how you installed it.. you can leave the compressed hybrid file on the desktop, but go to controlpanel>add/removeprograms>uninstall and DEVICE software for the blackberry there

ok thats the problem... you have the "hybrid".rar in the java folder?

no "all" the hybrid files are listed under

CDMA
JAVA

all 22 alx files

the hybrid files are .cod.. the .alx come with the os.. tell ya waht go ahead and go to controlpanel>add/removeprograms>uninstall any device software there
