    Thanks!

Hope so, I had forgotten how much Better the colors and fonts were.
    One more question JLevy
Point and Google maps and youtube are reputed to be the worst memory leak culprits and of course I gave them all.
Do you really notice a quicker snappier phone without certain apps on th unit?

The only of those three apps I have installed are google maps and with .90 I notice that everything is just a little slower than if I use .132 as the radio.

As you know each Storm is different so it can't hurt to remove those apps (simple enough to reinstall) and see how the phone takes to it. If you do uninstall do a battery pull.

I loaded v6, 148, .90 last week and it worked great until yesterday, no issues at all. Then I got the media card error and VSOD, twice yesterday, once today. I also was having the BT issue as well. This was the first BBC hybrid that I had that issue with. Earlier this evening, I wiped and loaded straight v6 148 and will see how that does!

Yeah, 90 doesnt play nice with everyone. For some it works great and for others makes them want to throw the phone away. You shouldnt have any issues with v6 148. Ive been running it since last week and no issues.

Thanks BBC! I was questioning it when I loaded 90, but thought what the heck, it's easy to change!

doesn't 148 have BT Volume issues for many?
I know I did at least on straight 148.
What radio are you using on v6 148 Crackman?

Got an error and a reboot while watching an episode of Flight of the Conchords straight from my media card. First hiccup of any sort with v6 .148, I didn't happen to catch the actual error. I'll try to reproduce the issue.

If it happens again, i would prefer to wipe and reinstall the OS on the device, that usually fixes that issue

I always do a full wipe before I install a new OS. But yeah, I'll try again if I get another error.

    Question

just to clarify... 3, 60 second battery pulls mean:
    - u take out the battery 3 times and wait for 60 secs before u put it back in... right?
but how long do u need to wait before doing the 2nd/3rd battery pull...??

sorry ... this might sound silly... i'm new to BB world...

    Thank you for the compliment!

You take the battery out, wait 60 seconds, put it back in and let the phone boot up...then do this 3 times total...I would say, let it boot up, then wait like a minute in between.

It does when you need to do them...but after an OS install, it's recommended the 3 physical battery pulls.

    Great,

I can not afford the low volume on 148. I went a day with it and it was awful.

id there any waw to tweak 148 to get the bigger fonts and deeper colors of .90?:lmao:

I had a re boot yesterday. I turned the network connection off and as soon as I hit the button it re booted. This is the only issue I've had with v6 .148. I'm on att and edge is strong after a boot up, it takes about five minutes to get it to switch to EDGE. I'm also getting so hour glasses loading some web pages but nothing that it freezing t phone. Its bee about 48 hours since the install so I'm going to run for another week and see then. I also had speaker phone issue. The other person couldn't hear me on speaker but I went to hand set and they could hear just fine. Having a little mem issue as I'm at 9 mb this morning. I have google maps and quick pull installed so I'm going to delete those and see if it helps. Typing the highlight still has a major lag as does letters showing up. Nothing I can't deal with as I type relatively fast any way and even my bold lags sometimes. Best build I've used so far though.

I REALLY wish I knew of a way to get the .90 color saturation and fonts with a .148 Radio. Slow transitions and flickering did not go away after 48 hours.

Any one have any experiments on this?
Wonder why those good features were abandoned after .90?
