    Shrink an operating system
    Run BBSAK and wipe bb
    reload bb

    Should do it for you.

When you installed the hybrid, was it a "dirty" install? Meaning you installed without wiping the bb. I use to do all that to save the time and trouble of reloading all 3rd party apps, and it only created headaches for me. Since wiping the bb I haven't had any problems since.
I've done all of this... twice... Except I've wiped with JL_Cmder

Anyone else having trouble with app world? I keep uninstalling and reinstalling it both OTA and from device manager and it shows up under add-on apps but there is no icon to be found anywhere...

No. Through JL_Cmder or through the handheld or doesn't it matter?

I'm not familiar with JL_Cmder. You can try through the handheld or if that doesn't work, try BBSAK. Both have worked for me in the past when I started to load hybrids and found the BBSAK to be a life saver!

Bug in 1.1.0.35 of App World: KB22944 - View Document

the "fix" is to wipe the apps and data off the phone and re-install. I'll think I'll wait for the next release...

I have BBSAK installed but for some reason it doesn't see my BlackBerry. It says that no device is connected.

Delete BBSAK and reload. Plug it in and hit connect
